In connection with the support team in Rome, consisting of the Test Engineer and the Senior Operations Support Engineer the Junior Operations Support Engineer will ensure that the customer’s own personnel operates the Server Based Gaming system correctly and efficiently and will support the customer in improving its standard operating procedures.
Key Result Areas (KRAs):
Installation of upgrades of SW at the customer primary and backup sites
Onsite customer support
Technical phone support as part of the 24/7 Support Hotline
·Take part in acceptance test at customer site
·Install and maintain “mirror systems”, i.e. copies of our customer installations
·Help the system test group (located at Headquarters) with installations and system tests
·Liaises closely with developer group in Sweden
·Occasionally conducts different kind of operational trainings
·Supports Senior Operations Support Engineer in documenting customer and SOGEI requirements and to translate them into actionable items for D&D at ACE Headquarters.
Key Skills & Experience:
·You have good computer technical knowledge and experience from both the Windows and Linux operating systems.
·Experience related to managing relational databases such as Oracle is an advantage.
·You have good social skills and are self-motivated.
·You are flexible and used to work in a dynamic environment.
·Knowledge from the gambling industry is a plus
·Commitment to company values is a MUST.
